The Native Prairie Gardens Inc, was incorporated in the 90's to
develop a certifying organization for organic produce, that
would be grown on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.

As time organic Produce was in early stage of been introduce
into the market arena, in other country, it was a way of life.
After a few years on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation the
interest in the Native Prairie Gardens Inc, the State of
South Dakota administrative dissolved, Non-profit in the recent
months.

A few individuals Sabrina and Saphira, Wendell and Delores
Yellow Bull began to rekindle the spirit of organic gardening. In
recent years there are small pocket of individuals who do grow
with organic in mind.

Now on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation 2009, a new organic
garden site has emerged 2.0 mile west of Pine Ridge Indian
Reservation at the Horn Cloud Place.

So this group has decide to reactivate the Non-profit The Native
Prairie Gardens Inc, there would be a cost for the
reinstatement of Non-profit organization and since this NPO
does not receive any founding from the government, it
depends entirely on donations from outside the Reservation.
